I’m still working on posting pages of my script on Screenwriter’s Block. I know it’s taking me a ridiculously long time but I just haven’t had the time to work on it with school and all. In the interim, I have an idea for a script I would like to flesh out/collaborate with someone on. Any of you fellow writers interested in collaborating on a sci-fi/drama script (the inspiration being a short story by Phillip K. Dick)?
Anonymous asked: I don't know what to do with my script. Please help me? Can you find me somebody that wants to direct a romantic drama film? Nobody cares about it.. :( I know I'm annoying right now but I'm so sad. Please, help :(
You’re not annoying at all! This is exactly what this blog is for :) Is it a completed script and you’ve revised it and everything? Because the next step I would do would be to register it with the Library of congress and the u.s. copyright office. Then I would worry about shopping my script around. And as long as you’re passionate about your script other people will be too! Anyone interested or knows someone who’s looking to direct a romantic drama?
Okay, I just want to really truly sincerely thank all of you followers who have continued to stay faithful and haven’t abandoned Screenwriter’s Block! Thank you all! My spring break is approaching fast and I will post a wealth of screenwriting tips, writing prompts, and the like. But in the interim does anyone have anything they would like to contribute or any questions?
Love Is Gold
Your heart is wondrous
Within it lies the life you seek.
Be not perplexed by love.
Someone, somewhere, is longing -
just as sure as all oceans connect.
So will you two, one day.
Be not perplexed by love.
In times of despair steadfast.
Look forward.
Stay true.
It may not…

Sorry this took so long to post my fellow writers. But here’s a short reference list for agencies for those of you looking for representation for your scripts. I am neutral on hiring agents as I have neither found them helpful or harmful - yet! But for those of you who think their assistance is the key to your script getting out there, go for it! I hope this link helps! Keep writing!
